Overview
The aim and objective of this program is to give clear guidelines for the
student or practitioner learning Reflexology to achieve a level of competency in
the field of Reflexology. Material is presented to enable students to understand
the different levels of proficiency required for Reflexology. Various ideas and
theories are discussed. Students will acquire a knowledge of how deeply relaxing
reflexology is and how this benefits a wide range of disorders, whether related
to stress, emotional, or mental problems. Completion of this program will enable
the Reflexology student to conduct a therapeutic healing session, for all ages,
from the very young to the more senior, to the sick and infirm to healthy
individuals.
Prerequisites
Must be age 18 or older. Students who
already have a Foot Reflexology qualification should enquire about omitting FRC1
from the program, and moving onto the post graduate programs.
Method of
Instruction
Primary
method of instruction is a hands-on, interactive lecture/discussion style.
Latest state-of-the-art Power Point Computer Presentations, Videos, group
discussions, exams, quizzes and a wide range of hands-on activities, such as
role playing in the treatment session model, are also utilized. Home
Study is an important part of the student’s learning.
